Why This Works

Strengths

Fishi provides strong sustained pressure against high-health targets through Drowning, while Water Goddess supports eligible Water-element attacks. Elyssia adds another damage source and summons, and Snow Reaper gives the team valuable time through Slow and Freeze. Word Mage helps applicable elemental attacks deal more damage, while Bulby makes the expensive setup easier to fund.

Weaknesses

Several units require significant investment before reaching their full potential, so the early game can be difficult without proper economy management. The setup depends on positioning and keeping Fishi attacking valuable targets. Drowning and elemental resistance reduction must be treated as separate mechanics, and the complete team has not yet been verified through a recorded Summer Hunt clear.

Placement / Upgrade Order

Early: stabilize with affordable defense and set up Bulby without leaking; don't rush an expensive Fishi you can't yet defend with. Mid: establish Fishi as the sustained boss-damage source, place Water Goddess so her buff reaches Water attackers, add Elyssia for coverage and summons, and put Snow Reaper where Slow and Chilled hit groups before the exit. Late: upgrade Fishi toward its Drowning damage first, keep Word Mage's curse on enemies your elemental units reach, and spend on the biggest remaining threat. Exact upgrade order is unverified.

Best Stage / Content

Summer Hunt testing, high-health boss encounters, Water-focused team compositions, and endgame PvE players experimenting with Update 21 synergies. Combo notes: Water Goddess's reported +50% covers Water damage only, and Drowning's special damage is a separate calculation. Word Mage's curse cuts elemental resistance, not true or percent-health damage. Elyssia's summons share her element, but her Eels hit ground only. Chilled stacks to a freeze, never a permanent one.
