Placement / Upgrade Order

At the beginning, place Oshi and the Speedwagons, then max out only the Speedwagons. Next, place Elyssia and upgrade her once, followed by one Water Goddess. After that, place the Zombies and Fishis, and continue upgrading Elyssia. That's pretty much it! If the stage is long, just keep maxing out the remaining units. Also, don't forget to upgrade Oshi once or twice if the enemies are under control.

Basically, every unit has its own job. Elyssia is the main DPS. She summons a bunch of powerful creatures, which makes her extremely effective against leaks and in tight runs. Fishi is a semi-DPS and ground support. She deals nice damage and applies her Drowning effect. Zombie provides a huge buff to Elyssia's dragons. Water Goddess gives a 50% damage buff to Elyssia, Fishi, and herself. She can also take care of any potential soaring enemies. And Speedwagon with Oshy is obviously there to quickly upgrade the units.
